My music began to play over the loudspeakers as I make my way down the ramp with a mic in my hand. The Hart Championship hung over my shoulder as I made my way up the stairs and stood in the middle of the ring.
So, I wasn't sure what to say in the back and I'm still not sure what to say now so I'm just going to wing it. Four years ago I found the XWF and it became something of a second home to me. What made it feel like home were the people in it, my fellow superstars. Since then, there are a lot of names that have earned my respect whether it means something to them or whether they see it as shit. It was a pleasure to face people like the Engineer who may be a crazy motherfucker but knows what he's doing in the ring. I think I heard someone say he has held the Universal Championship for eight months now and you have to admit that's pretty impressive. He gave me a run for my money in our match and put up a fight. And you can't mention one impressive streak without mentioning another. Robert Main, it was a pleasure of mine to be your partner in the ring at one point and put our championships on the line. I really hoped that I would able to face you for the Hart again but it looks like you are going to have your hands full with Engy and trying to get that Universal Championship. Best of luck and welcome back. Then there's Azrael, the man from the stars who took my championship, then I ripped his arm off, and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a rematch in our future. Thank you for not only being a tough opponent but helping me with that little problem I had four years ago. Gator, you are a funny motherfucker, don't change. And Chris Chaos, the man who made me push for the Hart Championship after losing it to him on Savage. Thank you because you made me a better wrestler. Actually, you all did. Expect Gator because I never had the chance to go against him but that is beside the point.
I laugh under my breath.
But I'll stop with this crappy speech and get on with why I came out here. After some consideration, I have decided to lay down the Hart Championship and make my departure from the XWF. XWF became a second home to me four years ago and ever since I seem to always find my way back one way or another. Unfortunately, this appears to be my last come back and my last goodbye. So with that being said, I wish this place the best and everyone in it. Thank you.
I smile before pulling the Hart championship into my hands. I look it over with a smile before laying it down in the middle of the ring along with the mic in my hand. My music plays one last time as I slide out of the ring and make my way to the back.
